Before sending us your artwork, please refer to the Artwork Requirement page for more details regarding acceptable image file formats. Our Print Size is up to 15 X 19 Inches ( please note: print size will affect prices ).
Some important tips:
Good image contrast and color quality are important. In the case of non-vector-format files (such as JPG, PNG) low compression, high resolution large image sizes are required in order to maintain print quality.
If possible, please provide your images in layered format so that we can adjust individual colors if necessary.
NOTE: If printing on dark shirts, please provide your image file with a transparent background. NOTE: if printing is to be done on black shirts, any black in the image must be converted to transparent for best results.
In many cases we can help improve your artwork if the image resolution or contrast is too low. Additional charges will apply, depending upon the amount of rework required and the quantity of the specific print ordered.
2. Garment
We supply many popular brands/styles of garments. For available garment colors, styles and sizes, please refer to the category pages for more information. Please note, garment color might be different depending on the quality of your computer display.
You can supply your own garments - what is required?
A few cautions are required in such cases:
Different fabrics will react in different ways depending on how well they can absorb water-based inks. We currently print on cotton, some cotton/synthetic blends garment. Please note that fabrics must be pre-shrunk.
Please be aware that part of the printing process involves placing the garment in a heat press to cure and bind the inks. Any garments we print on must be able to withstand normal ironing temperatures (about 330F/170C) without damage. For this reason we do not print on delicate fabrics without first doing a test print and washability tests (at extra cost)
If you send a garment which has already been worn, we require that it be laundered and well rinsed. Please do NOT use fabric softeners of any kind, because the inks will not be absorbed correctly due to the oily composition of the softener.
Please be aware that Sunro Printworks Ltd. accepts no responsibility for any damage caused to customer-supplied garments, simply because we have no control over the quality or composition of the fabrics involved.
NOTE! For customers supplying quantities of blank garments- Please be aware that the standard allowance for print errors due to unforeseen changes in the manufacturer's processing, dye lot chemistry, or other fabric changes is normally 5% of total quantity for each shirt style/size/color. Sunro Printworks will compensate for any errors beyond 5% which are due to faulty printing on our part, but the first 5% is the customer's responsibility in all cases.
3. Pricing

4. Payment methods
We currently accept Interac e-transfer, debit cards, cash, business cheques and VISA or MasterCard.
For one or more orders totaling over $100 we require a 50% deposit before processing an order. Orders less than $100 require full pre-payment.
5. Turnaround Time
Most orders can be finished in 3 to 4 business days. If you need the order in a rush, please let us know. We will try our best to meet your timeline ( No extra cost for rush orders).
6. Print Size and Colors
Our printer is capable of producing garment images up to 15 inches wide and 19 inches long. When printing garments, we usually adjust the image size to suit the size of garment being created, at no extra charge.
There is no limit to the number of colors an image can have, and because we don't use screen printing there is no extra charge for all those colors.
7. Shipping and handling
All orders will be shipped be Canada Post.
- For customers in the greater Vancouver BC region we offer delivery to your location. Some fees may apply, depending on order size and distance. For orders greater than $600 before tax, we offer free local delivery. Orders less than $600.00 are subject to a charge of $0.50/KM to a maximum of $30.00 if you prefer faster delivery.
8. Garment washing instructions
For long print life, please follow these simple instructions:
Turn garment inside out.
Wash in cold (preferred) or warm water. Never hot.
Use oxygen bleach sparingly (NOT chlorine bleach!)
Cotton/cotton blends/hemp: Dry in gentle cycle at low temperature.
Bamboo: Hang to dry.
Do NOT Iron !
Do not mix white and color garments in the same wash!
9. Returns policy
Satisfaction with materials and workmanship is guaranteed or we will happily give you a refund, within 20 days of your order, for garments that you purchased from us (less shipping/handling fees), provided they have not been worn or improperly handled or damaged.
We cannot process your return without the invoice number or receipt for your original Sunro order. If you have misplaced your invoice or receipt, please contact us. We will need to know your name and address in order to look up your order.
Please include your invoice number or a copy of your receipt in the box/package along with your name, address, telephone number, email address, and the reason for the return.
10. Exchange policy
We are currently unable to offer exchanges except for defective items. Please follow the instructions for returns, and then simply place a new order for the new item(s). You will receive a refund for your original order once we receive the returned items.

11. Privacy policy
We do not rent, sell or distribute any customer information to anyone for any reason ... period ... full stop. ** Your privacy is important to us and is assured. When you give us your e-mail or delivery address and your phone number during the ordering process, they are used for direct communications purposes only.
** One important exception: To comply with legal requests from law enforcement agencies in the course of a criminal investigation.
We store any images you send us on our own secure, redundant file servers (not accessible by the outside world) in order to protect your intellectual property.
